Father Germán Ruis Rebollo, Pastor at Sacred Heart in Emmett and St. Jude's in Garden Valley, was born on May 28, 1984, in Maravatío, Michoacán, México. He studied at the Diocesan Seminary of Morelia and was ordained on June 9, 2011, by Archbishop Alberto Cardenal Suárez Inda. He served as Parochial Vicar at four parishes in Michoacán before coming to the United States in 2019, where he was a Parochial Vicar from July 2019-June 2022 at St. John Paul II Parish in Idaho Falls, which also includes mission churches in Roberts and Mud Lake. Father Ruis was next appointed to Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Caldwell serving as Parochial Vicar from July 2022-June 2024
